Asteria Terms & Conditions

This website, online store and associated sales channels are operated by Asteria (“Asteria”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Asteria offers jewellery, related products, information and services through its website and official online channels, including Instagram and Facebook (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing our website, interacting with our official social media pages, making an enquiry, placing an order, making a purchase or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”), subject to applicable law.

By using our Services, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law. You agree to use our website, products and Services only for lawful purposes.

Asteria reserves the right to refuse, restrict or cancel an order or Service where reasonably necessary, including suspected fraud, misuse, unlawful activity, payment irregularities, or violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information displayed on our website and official social media channels is accurate and up to date. Minor variations may occur due to photography, lighting, screen settings, manufacturing processes and the natural characteristics of diamonds and gemstones.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Prices, product specifications and availability may change. Applicable taxes, shipping charges and other charges will be communicated or displayed before order confirmation where required.

Asteria's collection is centred around certified lab-grown diamonds. Natural diamonds are available exclusively through our Custom Design experience.

Where a diamond or gemstone is accompanied by a grading or certification report, the report is the reference for the stated characteristics of that stone. Where applicable, precious-metal jewellery will comply with relevant Indian standards and regulatory requirements, including applicable BIS hallmarking requirements.

All Asteria jewellery is made to order. Customisation may include ring size, metal type/colour/purity, diamond or gemstone selection, engraving, design modifications, dimensions, personalised details, and other confirmed specifications.

Customers are responsible for carefully checking and confirming all specifications before production, including size, engraving, names, dates, and other personalised details. Once a customised or made-to-order product has been confirmed, cancellation, alteration, return or exchange may be restricted in accordance with Asteria's applicable policy and Indian law.

An order placed through our website, social media channels, messaging platforms or other authorised sales channels constitutes a request to purchase. An order becomes confirmed when Asteria accepts the order and/or begins processing or production, subject to these Terms.

Asteria may refuse or cancel an order where the product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing/listing error, payment cannot be verified, information is incomplete or inaccurate, suspicious activity is suspected, the order cannot reasonably be fulfilled, or the order violates applicable law.

Payments must be made through payment methods made available or authorised by Asteria. Payment transactions may be processed through third-party payment providers and may be subject to their respective terms and policies.

Asteria currently ships only within India. We do not currently offer international shipping. Estimated timelines may vary based on production, customisation, courier operations, location, weather, public holidays, government restrictions and other circumstances beyond Asteria's reasonable control.

Customers are encouraged to inspect packages upon delivery. If a package appears visibly damaged, tampered with or compromised, document the condition and notify Asteria as soon as reasonably possible. Asteria may request photographs, videos, packaging details, delivery records, OTP information, or other reasonable documentation.

All returns, refunds, cancellations, exchanges, resizing and remake requests are governed by Asteria's Refund, Cancellation & Exchange Policy. Made-to-order, customised and personalised jewellery is generally final sale, except where required by applicable Indian law or expressly agreed by Asteria in writing.

Customers are responsible for providing or confirming the correct ring size before production. Asteria cannot guarantee that a customer-provided or customer-approved size will fit correctly. Resizing, where available, may be subject to additional charges.

Asteria may display, promote and sell products through official social media accounts and platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, in addition to its website. Orders through such channels may be subject to these Terms and the relevant platform's technical requirements. Customers should verify that they are communicating with an official Asteria account or authorised channel before making a payment.

Asteria may use third-party providers for payment processing, shipping and logistics, website hosting, technology, communication, analytics and other business operations. Such providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Our website or social media channels may contain links to third-party websites or services. Such links are provided for convenience and Asteria is not responsible for third-party content, availability, accuracy, security or privacy practices.

If you voluntarily submit reviews, photographs, testimonials, comments, suggestions or other content to Asteria, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not infringe another person's rights. By submitting content, you grant Asteria a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, publish and display the content for legitimate business, promotional and marketing purposes, subject to applicable law.

Personal information submitted through our website, order forms, social media channels or other authorised communication channels will be handled in accordance with Asteria's Privacy Policy and applicable Indian law. Customers are responsible for ensuring that information provided to Asteria is accurate and current.

All original Asteria content, including product photographs, videos, website content, product descriptions, graphics, marketing content, original designs and other creative materials, may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Customers may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, commercially exploit or otherwise use Asteria's proprietary content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

Asteria may correct such errors and, where legally permissible, cancel an order affected by a material error. Eligible refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable law and policy.

Asteria makes reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and accuracy of its website and Services but does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, timely or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee or consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded under Indian law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Asteria shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the website or Services. Asteria shall not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Nothing in this clause limits liability where prohibited by law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Asteria, its owners, employees, representatives, contractors, service providers and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, unlawful use of the Services, violation of another person's rights, fraudulent or misleading information, or misuse of the website, products or Services.

Asteria shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations where caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, strikes, transportation/courier disruptions, public emergencies, technical failures, power outages or other unforeseen events.

If any provision is found unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in force.

Asteria may suspend or terminate access to its Services where it reasonably believes a user has violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent, unlawful or abusive conduct, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, together with Asteria's Privacy Policy, Refund, Cancellation & Exchange Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Craftsmanship Warranty, Jewellery Care Guide and other policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing use of the Services.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific policy applicable to a particular transaction, the specific policy will apply to that transaction to the extent applicable and permitted by law.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts and authorities in India, subject to applicable consumer-protection laws and any jurisdictional rights available to consumers.

Asteria intends to comply with applicable laws and regulations governing its business and e-commerce activities in India, including, as applicable, consumer protection, e-commerce, GST, Legal Metrology, BIS standards and hallmarking, intellectual property, information technology and privacy/data protection requirements.

Asteria may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be made available on the website. Continued use after publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance, subject to applicable law.
